Weleda are a cruelty-free, natural and organic company that use natural ingredients that work in harmony with your skin. I love that they only use natural and organic ingredients as I am swapping all of my skincare and makeup products to ones that are better for my skin. I don’t want to lather myself up in products that are filled with man-made chemicals and parabens as I know they aren’t doing anything good for my skin or my health.
The moisturiser is a thick, pale green lotion and you do have to work it into the skin quite a bit. I love this though as I have to massage it into the skin which is always a bonus as it helps with circulation! It smells really nice – you can tell there are no crappy chemicals in this product! It is packed full of ingredients that are really good for your skin like organic sunflower seed oil, chamomile, calendula, rosemary and wild pansy extract and has scents of sweet orange and lavandulae.
Weleda say ‘it is a great rescue remedy for lack-lustre or generally undernourished complexions.’ I would definitely agree with this. I have used it on my legs and I get bobbly red dots all over my legs after using my epilator but I can safely say that after a few days of using this they aren’t as apparent and my skin is a lot smoother.
Adele apparently uses this along with Victoria Beckham and Helena Christiensen. There is a huge list of celebrities that are apparently a fan of this moisturiser and if I was a celeb, I would be on that list! I haven’t used it on my face yet as I use Neal’s Yard Remedies for my facial products but I might give it a go if my skin needs that extra ‘pick-me-up’.
I bought this for £8.95 at Lucy Rose for 75ml which is a pretty good price.
Have you tried any Weleda products? What did you think?
