Mádara | Sun Flower Golden Beige Tinting Fluid Review

On my quest to use only natural and organic products I was on the lookout for a liquid foundation. I tried a sample of this product when I ordered some products from Lucy Rose and loved it! It is full of organic ingredients that moisturise your skin at the same time as offering what I would say a light/medium coverage. I love wearing this when I’m having a good skin day. If I need a little extra coverage I use concealer and powder over the top and it works perfectly. It isn’t a ‘foundation’ as such; it’s actual name is a ‘tinting fluid’ so basically a BB cream.

It has quite a strange smell, which I found is the same as their shampoo too but it does still smell nice and isn’t off-putting as it only lasts a few minutes when you apply it. It stays put for a good 8 hours I would say. I work in a shop and I’m not constantly doing something so usually I sit with my hands on my face which doesn’t help. If I was out and about I think it would last longer. This colour may be a bit dark for some people so there is a lighter shade called Moon Flower so I would say these two shades would be perfect for the majority of people. The Sun Flowers shade offers a lovely sunkissed glow to the skin without feeling like you have anything on at all!

I use a buffing brush to apply this but you could also use your fingers and it would still work just as well – be quick though as it does dry quite fast! It is £23.00 for 50ml but has a pump dispenser that pumps out enough for one application at a time so it would definitely last ages! Overall I really like this product and look forward to using it more!

I love the Madara tinting fluid too, I have the moon flower shade though as I'm super pale! I haven't tried applying it with a brush yet, I'll have to give it a go 🙂 x

  2. I actually didn't realise they did a lighter shade until I had bought the darker one but luckily it's an ok shade for me! Do you use your fingers? I think I just prefer using a brush for everything because it's habit but I might try and just use my fingers! x
