Love The Planet Washable Cleansing Pads

I saw these Cleansing Pads when I was browsing through Lucy Rose at the beginning of the month making my wish list! I hadn’t heard of this brand before so I did a little research to learn a little bit more about the company.

Love The Planet was started back in 2002 by Laura McComiskie. What started as a kitchen based project, quickly grew into a successful business with loyal customers all over the world.
Reaching the finals of the British Female Inventor of the Year Awards in London in 2002 with her Washable Cleansing Pads idea, spurred her on to develop the idea further and launch Love The Planet.

These pads are an environmentally friendly way of cleansing your skin without the need to endlessly use cotton wool. I have never really like using cotton wool as I always seem to end up with straggly bits on my face or I soak them too much and end up splattering toner or cleanser all over my face and the floor! But these pads are perfect as they soak up the product but there is still enough on there to feel the product working.

When you’ve used the pads you simply pop them in the wash bag that they come with and put them in the washing machine!

You get 5 pads and a wash bag for Ā£6.49 from Lucy Rose here so these would definitely save you money in the long run if you’re not buying cotton wool! I bought the coloured ones but they’re also available in white.

Have you tried anything like this to cleanse your face?

  1. The coloured ones are pretty, I have the white ones have to say there is something satisfying seeing all your makeup over then after cleansing šŸ™‚

  6. They're soft but not super soft so they still offer a gentle exfoliation at the same time! x
