I’m going to start a series of blog posts called ‘My Favourite Five’ and each week I will talk about my top five products of a certain category. This week I’m starting off with lip balms. I have loads of different ones that I take everywhere with me so I thought I would share my top five!
1. Neal’s Yard Remedies Bee Lovely Balm
This balm smells so nice. If you haven’t smelt any of the Bee Lovely range yet then you have to find some ASAP. It’s a mix of orange and honey and just smells so summery and lovely. Having honey in your lip products is really great as it helps to heal dry and cracked lips!
2. Balm Balm 100% Organic Rose & Geranium
I got this in one of my Souk Souk boxes and I am really impressed. It smells gorgeous and nourishes my lip for ages! You can also use this on any dry patches just like the Neal’s Yard ones!
3. Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm
I use this as a lip balm because I got a smaller pot of it in the Pure Indulgence gift set at Christmas last year. It’s a perfect size pot for a lip balm and I also use it if I’m out and about but need a bit of moisture whether it be a dry patch on my skin or rough elbows! I have a larger pot that I use for my face masks and as a hair product so it’s a great all-round product!
4. Glam Colour Cosmetics 3-in-1 Lip Suite
I just tried this in my latest Souk Souk box and it’s really great. It’s a lip colour, gloss and balm all in one and the colour is just incredible. It’s a lovely deep pink shade and goes on so smoothly. You would need to look in a mirror whilst you apply this one though as the colour is so pigmented, you might end up with it all round your lips if you’re clumsy like me! They have loads of shade too so there is something for everybody.
5. Móa The Green Balm
Another product that I got in a Souk Souk box! This product has a minty, fresh scent to it. I also used this when I had hayfever around my sore eyes and they were so much better the next morning! It nourishes my lips overnight and they are so smooth and refreshed in the morning!
What are you favourite lip balms? How else do you use them?
