Zoya Pixie Dust Nail Varnish in Destiny

I won this nail varnish in Ria’s 100 Followers Giveaway over at Naturia Beauty and I’m so happy with it! It is a gorgeous sparkly orange shade with a textured finish.

Zoya Nail Polish is FREE from toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP (phthalates) and camphor. They are also Vegan Friendly and Cruelty Free. I hadn’t heard of this brand before other than seeing Ria’s review on her blog so I was intrigued to find out how good their polishes are!
“Summer Pixie Dust collection is infused with magic and wonder! The latest “must-have” nail polish finish – textured, matte and sparkling! This newly developed formula is sure to captivate with a magical sparkle and sugary finish like no other.”

I didn’t apply a base coat as after reading on their website it advised not to, then I applied 3 coats to get a completely opaque finish. You could stop at 2 coats but I wanted it to be really bright! It went on really easily and stayed on for about two days without chipping. It did start to chip at the tips of my nails but I don’t think I waited long enough between coats for them to dry so I smudged a couple of nails straight after. Damn my impatience!

The texture of the nail varnish is quite strange. It did take a little bit of getting used to but I love it! I have it painted on my toes as well and the colour is so bright. I wore this on holiday to Barcelona but I think because of swimming and the heat it didn’t last that long and I sat on the metro picking it off – naughty me! I really love it though especially on my toes and think I will try more of their range and buy a sparkly red or green for Christmas time!

Lucy Rose sell the Zoya range.

What do you think of this colour/texture nail varnishes?

So glad you love it! The colour really is gorgeous. I know what you mean with the texture, it definitely takes some getting used to but it look so preeeetty 🙂 Try using a top coat to stop it chipping, mine always lasts 7 days or more that way!
