The Green Beauty Swap was set up by Ria and Tania from Naturia Beauty & Bow Tied Beauty. I was so excited when I received my parcel from Rachel that I couldn’t wait to open it and see what she had chosen for me! We had decided that we were going to wait until the weekend before Christmas as we’re both away at Christmas and for the purposes of our blogs we could then write about them before we go…however…we both received them on the same day and I just couldn’t wait so we both opened them!
So without further ado; here is what Rachel chose for me:
Madara Refreshing Body Wash – This smells of peppermint and is such a gorgeous scent and product! It lathers up really well and leaves me feeling fresh and clean. I love the smell of peppermint and so does Rachel so the next thing she got me was…
Peppermint Essential Oil – I have been doing some DIY products and Rachel loves to make her own products too so this is definitely going to get used up! I am planning on doing a Mint Chocolate Body Butter at the start of next year and will be using this in it so keep an eye out for that!
Zoya Colour Lock Kit – This is an amazing kit. It has a remover, a base coat, a top coat, and then drying drops which are really good. I used this on Friday night as soon as I got the parcel and was really impressed. Normally my nail varnish doesn’t stay un-chipped for long (I don’t know why, it never has!) but my nails are still as perfect as when I did them on Friday night! The base coat seemed to help a lot – normally I do three coats with the Pixie Dust collection but I only needed two with the base coat on so it’ll save me money in the long-run as I’m using less polish!
Argan Oil – I have seen argan oil used in mainstream products but never used it on its own. Rachel says she uses it on her hair so I tried this out after having it highlighted and it felt so smooth and smells gorgeous!
Dr Bronner’s Hemp Rose Castille Soap – This soap has 18 purposes and I have used this before as a shower gel when I’ve run out of my usual one but found it to be almost too squeeky clean but I’m looking forward to using this for a make-up brush cleaner and any of the other 18 uses! I love the rose scent too!
Let me know if you’ve posted about the swap in the comments below so I can check out your post!
Thank you to Ria & Tania for setting up this swap – it’s been a great experience!
Merry Christmas everybody!
