I was recently contacted by MyPure and asked if I wanted to become part of their blogger programme. I jumped at the chance because they stock a wide range of natural and organic beauty products, from skincare to make-up and haircare, so I will be reviewing some of them every month for you lovely lot!
The first product I decided to review is the Living Nature Deep Cleansing Mask*. I got a sachet of this product with January’s Souk Souk box and loved the scent of it so I decided to try out the full size. The product actually comes in sachets and you get 10 x 5ml sachets per box which is slightly annoying because you have to wriggle all the product out. However you do get the perfect amount to cover your face so you don’t waste any product and it helps to preserve the product meaning you can keep them for longer!
This mask claims to deeply purify and refine pores using Halloysite Clay (known for its ability to absorb toxins) as well as Manuka essential oils and Totara extract to leave skin feeling balanced and soft. The mask smells like lemon sherbet and is really refreshing. Usually with clay masks they don’t often smell too good but this is so uplifting! It goes on really smoothly and I would recommend to keep the mask on for about 10 minutes so it doesn’t dry up as that’s when it can irritate the skin, as with any mask!
The mask is suitable for any skin type however it is especially beneficial to those with acne prone skin. I have almost gotten rid of all my blackheads with my new skincare regime however using a mask once a week helps to reduce these and get rid of impurities! After taking the face mask off, my skin feels super soft and my pores look smaller. With continued use of these once a week I can tell a difference in my blackheads on my nose and chin and would highly recommend these masks for anyone with acne prone or oily skin.
As always, here is a beautiful photo of me wearing the mask!
