I don’t actually wear make-up every single day, I like to let my skin have a rest, however when I do wear it in the day, its very often the same make-up and now that I’ve built up quite a collection of natural and organic make-up, I thought I’d do a post about it!
I keep the majority of my products in the Bodhi Travel Bag* that Elijah sent me recently as it’s the perfect size for everything I need apart from my huge Neve eyeshadow palette but I have two dressing tables now as my sister moved out of our room that we shared so I have plenty of room for my brushes & everything else on there so I keep it altogether.
I use my Living Nature Liquid Foundation in the colour Pure Sand which is the perfect shade for me. It stays on for hours – I wore it to Be:Fit London a couple of weeks ago and it was so hot and I got pretty flustered walking through London and on the tubes but I came home and it was still almost perfect after 9 hours!
I love my RMS Un Cover Up concealer that I bought in New York. It does a great job of covering my hideous dark circles however it does tend to set into a lines if you apply too much. I like to dab my fingers over it to blend it in after applying with the Real Techniques Blending Brush.
I have two bronzers that I switch up every now and then. One of the first natural beauty purchases I bought was the Vapour Solar Translucent Bronzer which is a cream bronzer with a hint of shimmer. It blends in well and leaves me with a dewy bronzed look. If I’m going for a matte finish though I’ll use my new Neve Cosmetics Bronzer in “California” that I haven’t pictured because it’s just in a refill pot.
I have one natural blusher from Benecos which is a gorgeous coral shade. It goes on quite pigmented so you only need to apply a small amount but its a lovely colour. I really want to try a pale pink natural blusher as I only have one MAC one at the minute which obviously I’d love to replace so any recommendations will be appreciated!
I fill in my eyebrows with my Sante Eyebrow Pencil that I bought in New York from Whole Foods. I was actually going to return it as I thought it would be too light for me however it is pretty much a perfect match. It’s quite a hard pencil but I like that because then it goes on lightly and doesn’t look too harsh!
I just wrote a post about my new ILIA illuminator in the colour ‘Moonbeams & Polkadots’. It’s a lovely pearl shimmer that looks lovely when it catches the light on cheekbones, brow bones, nose and cupids bow! This is my natural alternative to MAC’s Cream Colour Base in Pearl! You can read my review here.
For my everyday look I normally do a nude shade on my lids, with a hint of a darker brown on the outer corner and a bit of dark liner with a slight flick on the outer corner. I’ve been loving my Neve Cosmetics Elegantissimi Palette (review). I use my Avril mascara everyday which I love.
