May Favourites 2014

I thought I would do a post linking my video with a little more detail about the products that I spoke about as I was really nervous and didn’t get everything across that I would have liked!

Indie Lee Vanilla Citrus Moisturising Oil – I won Indie’s Earth Day competition and this was one of my prizes that I chose! I’m so glad I did because it smells lovely, its really lightweight and sinks into the skin really quickly. I use this on my body as well as a cleanser on my face with my Konjac sponge and it makes my skin glow.

REN Clarifying Toning Lotion – I love this product, this is my second bottle and it’s almost run out. I will definitely continue to repurchase this toner. It works well at reducing my blackheads and keeping blemishes at bay. (Review)

Lush Mask of Magnaminty* – I was given this from LUSH when we visited there for the Northampton Blogger Meet and I love it. It’s from the self-preserving range so it doesn’t have any synthetic preservatives or parabens which is great. It smells like mint sauce & is really great for blemishes & blackheads. I really enjoy using this.

Bodhi & Birch Neroli Luce Revitalising Facial Oil* – I have not been using a regular cleanser for a few weeks now because I have so many, I’m trying to use as many up as I can however my skin hasn’t really reacted badly at all and I think it’s down to this oil. I use it every night without fail and it just keeps my skin in tip top condition. It smells gorgeous & I actually was featured in May’s Pure Beauty Magazine where I shared my love for this beautiful oil! (Review)

Ambiance Dry Shampoo – I was sent this about a month or so ago. It works great, you simply tip the brush upside down on a section of hair and rub or brush it in. I’ve loved using this as since transitioning to green beauty it’s been difficult for me to find a decent shampoo that keeps my hair clean for longer than two days but I don’t want to keep stripping my hair by washing it too much so this dry shampoo helps to clean my fringe & crown so I don’t have to walk around with hair that looks unwashed. (Review)

The Body Deli Melon Peptide Moisturising Creme Gel – This is just a sample size product that I got in the A Beautiful World Summer Sampler Box but I’ve been loving it so far. It’s really lightweight and gives my skin a glow. I use this over my Indie Lee Facial Oil in the mornings and it instantly wakes up my skin and makes me look less tired!

  1. I bought my mum the ambiance dry shampoo a bit ago but 'borrowed' it when i was in desperate need. It made me look like had natural highlights in my hair bearing in mind i have auburn/brown hair it looked so good! Ive officially stolen it so I'm now going to have to buy her another haha xx
