I was recently contacted by Circaroma who I came across on Twitter and was asked if I would like to try some of their award-winning organic skincare products. I’d been browsing on their website after following them so I was thrilled to be asked. A parcel arrived just a couple of days later & I couldn’t wait to try them. Their products have been featured in magazines like Vogue, Tatler, Red and Marie Claire and are used by celebrities such as Kate Winslet and Zoe Ball. They are also featured in the Natural Beauty Bible.
Circaroma are an organic skincare brand, created by Barbara who works as a classical aromatherapist. She runs her own private practice and wanted to use only the best quality ingredients available on her clients so alongside her therapists who work at Circaroma, they have created a complete range of face and body care from some of the finest ingredients available. Barbara believes “you can care for your skin in a genuinely natural way, whilst achieving effective results and experiencing beautiful aromas.”
I have to talk about the scent of this product. I don’t know what it is but it smells like paint to me?! I’m not sure…it must be the patchouli but just as you open the jar you just get a whiff of what to me, smells like paint…it doesn’t stay on the skin its just when you open the jar? Scent aside, its a lovely product to use. It has small pieces of ground walnut shells that gently exfoliate the skin whilst offering a soothing cleansing action at the same time which just feels so lovely! My skin feels soft after using this and it does a great job of getting rid of any dry patches. It feels like a cream cleanser and exfoliator all in one so I don’t have to use another cleanser after this as I feel like it does a great job on its own!
Overall I’m really pleased that I got to try these products and discover the brand. I’m not sure how I went so long without finding them! For such high quality organic ingredients, I think the prices are great. The only annoying thing is I can’t find the ingredients lists on the website…I had to go onto Victoria Health (link) so have a look on there if you want to find out the ingredients.
Have you tried anything from Circaroma?
