Organic September Day 18: People Tree

Choosing to go Organic can range from your food, to your beauty regime and even to what you choose to wear. People Tree are a UK based brand, making sustainable, fair trade, eco-friendly clothing, using organic cotton that is certified by the Soil Association.

The lovely Tamara from Rainbow Feet sent me a photo of one of their tops a month ago and I fell in love & bought it straight away! It has a bee decoration on the front and it says “Sweet as Honey“. The fabric is organic cotton, is great quality and it isn’t at all see-through which can sometimes be a problem with white fabric. It was also on sale when I bought it so it was only £19.60 which I think is a great price. Sorry People Tree but I am not very good at taking photos of clothes so I stole this from your site…please forgive me!

I also have a mini haul too! I was reading my e-mails when I woke up on Monday and for London Fashion Week every day they were offering discounts on one particular item and I saw this Claudia Diamond Print Dress with 30% discount and I couldn’t resist picking it up! Recently I’ve been struggling to find jeans and trousers that fit me properly…I’m not an abnormal shape or anything its just the high street clothing is not great at the minute so I have turned to wearing dresses more as they’re so much more comfortable and much more flattering than ill-fitting jeans!

It was supposed to be £65.00 but with the 30% off it was only £45.50! I received it yesterday (how quick was that?!) but unfortunately it doesn’t fit me that great so I’m going to send it back however…

I also picked up a Zandra Rhodes Wave Bodycon Dress which is the most gorgeous print! Silly me didn’t read the reviews before I ordered that say it comes up tight so I ordered a 10 and it is just slightly on the tighter side so I’m going to exchange it for a size 12 as it is just go gorgeous! It cost £55.00 which I think is a great price too!

Have you bought anything from People Tree?

  1. Love what you have chosen from this site, unfortunately they don't offer my size as they appear to stop at 16. Guess that's my punishment for eating lots of cake lol

I thought that tee was familiar! I love People tree and even though I don't do a wardrobe overhaul every season anymore, whenever I am looking for something they are my first stop always! Xx

  4. Haha I love the tee! I hadn't shopped with them before as a lot of it is more expensive that I would normally spend but you can tell it's worth it in the quality & the fact that it is organic is much better 🙂

Yes for sure, especially with their woven dresses, I still have some from 7-8 ago that look as new even though I have worn them loads. I've noticed they seem to have things on sale most of the time and I have picked up some gourgeous things for under £20. Plus their surprise goodie bags £35 (wich normally have 4 clothing things plus an accessory) have always worked out really well for me xx
