A while back I was lucky enough to win a selection of Balm Balm products from the website Lovely Lotions on their Twitter. I have to admit, I received them just before I went to New York in February and sort of just put them alongside my other stash of skincare products and they got a little lost. However, I had seen some great reviews of their products so I dug them out and made a special effort to try them ready for Organic September and I’m glad I did!
Lovely Lotions are a natural & organic online website with a variety of brands such as Balm Balm, Green People, Nature Perfect, Beauty Kitchen & Konjac Sponge. I won a selection of Balm Balm goodies; Rose Geranium Face Balm, Tea Tree Face Balm, Balance All Over Balm and the Relax All Over Balm.
Balm Balm are a brand that produce simple yet effective products that are 100% natural as well as 100% organic. Their product range is fairly large ranging from face and lip balms to body oils and their packaging is simple yet chic and the prices are incredible. What more could you want?!
Rose Geranium Face Balm is an 100% natural, 100% organic balm certified by the Soil Association and can be used to nourish and moisturise your face and neck or anywhere else that might need a bit of extra special attention! I love to use this similar to the way I used to use the Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm as it has a similar consistency and effect. I slather it on as a face mask if I am having a bad skin day and leave it on for around 20-30 minutes. The scent is really relaxing and its full of shea butter, sunflower, beeswax, jojoba, calendula and Rose Geranium essential oils to truly soothe your face. I then do a gentle facial massage before taking it off with a hot flannel. And did I mention the price tag….? ยฃ6.99 for a 30ml tube!
The other is the Tea Tree Face Balm that I use if I am having a bad breakout as its perfect for congested problematic skin yet it still offers nourishing properties to help skin recover. The balm is packed full of Tea Tree essential oil which we all know is renowned for its antibacterial & antiviral properties which helps sort out those niggling spots. I love using this as a cleanser when I’m having a bad breakout and it helps to soothe my red spots whilst helping to clear them up at the same time.

I'm really getting into this brand. I have the Frankincense balm and although I had to get used to the scent, I have really been enjoying it. Thanks for making my balm balm wishlist even larger!
