Indie Lee Calendula Eye Balm

As most of you will know, I recently won a mega prize from the wonderfully amazing Indie Lee. If you didn’t know, I won $1,000 worth of her natural beauty products!

I’ve been using the Calendula Eye Balm for a good few month’s now so I thought I’d write a review on my experience with it. This product is a balm, specially designed for sensitive skin around the eyes. The use of mango seed butter means that it helps to diminish dark circles whilst calendula oil, beeswax and lavender oil increase skin’s elasticity. Calendula is a powerful antioxidant that has anti inflammatory properties, meaning it is perfect for keeping your eyes looking youthful and depuffed. It also contains Squalane (one of my favourite oils from Indie’s range!) which helps to keep wrinkles at bay.

As most of you will know, I hate my dark circles. I’ve tried quite a few eye creams and gels to try to combat them but nothing has worked as well as I had hoped…until now. This soothing balm feels so lovely around my eyes and has worked the best on my dark circles than anything else I’ve tried. It hasn’t made them go completely but I can never ask for that with just a product as I know it is also down to genes and keeping myself hydrated (which I admit, I am very bad at!!) however the difference is pretty amazing. I wish I had taken a photo of before & after so you could all see but you can just take my word for it…it’s amazing! I don’t have to apply as much concealer under my eyes anymore and I feel much better knowing I don’t constantly look tired or have people saying to me…”You look tired, are you okay?!”

I’ve been using this for a good few months now and have probably used just less than half. I simply rub my index finger inside the pot and then dab it around my whole eye area which also gives me a lovely glow too! The only thing I would say it the pot only lasts 6 months once opened but I have so much left, a smaller pot would be nicer I think as you only dab your finger so you literally use the smallest amount each time!

You can get it for £26.00 on A Beautiful World in the UK or on

Calendula Officinalis Flower (calendula) Oil, Beeswax, Magnifera Indica (mango) Seed Butter, Lavandula Angustifolia (lavender) Oil, Squalane (olive derived), Persea gratissima (avocado) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E)

  8. Ooh that's a good idea Ana! Then it would probably last longer…mine hasn't gone off yet or anything I just think its a lot, especially as you only dab your finger on the top! x
