Natracare Organic Make-up Removal Wipes | Beauty Review

I was recently sent a pack of Natracare’s Organic Make-up Removal Wipes* and I also received a pack in the goody bag at the Soil Association Whole Foods Organic Beauty Week event so I’m well & truly stacked up with face wipes!

Natracare use organic and natural ingredients in their wipes and they are infused with organic essential oils of almond, apricot and chamomile giving them a lovely delicate scent. The soft & strong organic cotton cloth is “gentle but effective and removes even waterproof mascara and lipstick”. The make-up removal wipes are certified organic by the Soil Association meaning they are well & truly organic, to the highest standard available on the market.

For a long time I have avoided wipes purely because most of the mainstream ones on the market today are filled with harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde, foaming ingredients, parabens and synthetic fragrances and I even had a reaction to a pack of wipes years ago so I was happy to see Natracare taking note of this and using natural and organic ingredients and aiming for such high quality organic ingredients too, proving it is possible!

And…they work really well! I have used these many times now on a full face of make-up including mascara and bright lippies and they do a great job. I would go in with a proper cleanser afterwards as I double cleanse however I feel happy that they’re removing my make-up efficiently and certainly wouldn’t feel as guilty after a night-out if I only used a wipe as my make-up remover!

I have found I get a slight tingling sensation on my cheeks when I use these so I mainly use them for my eye make-up but the tingly feeling goes away after a couple of minutes and there’s no redness at all.

Not only are they great for your skin, they are also 99% biodegradable which is great for the environment too!

You can get them online at the Ethical Superstore for just £3.99 a pack.

  1. I don't use wipes but if I did I would use these and like you said when you have been out they are so much better than nothing at all! 🙂 Xx

  2. I need to get a set of these! I hate staining my muslin cloths with make up and have been keeping an eye out for an organic alternative. After you mentioned them in your haul video I've been waiting for a review 🙂 So glad you like using them as it means I probably will tooo x
