As part of the huge goody bag from the Green Beauty Meet-Up back in September, we received a Balmology Try Me Set which includes three mini samples of their balms; Cleanse, Nourish & Comfort. I am in love with them and thought I’d share my thoughts as Balmology have just put them on sale on their website!
The Cleanse balm is a blend of Neroli and Sweet Basil in a luxurious, thick balm which melts on contact with the skin. The key ingredients are jojoba oil, apricot oil, castor oil and avocado which all work in harmony with each other to cleanse skin of any dirt and impurities.
It was love at first try with this balm. I need the full size! My skin absolutely loves this balm and it helps with my blackheads as well as any breakouts I might have. At £21.00 for a 50g jar, it won’t break the bank either!
The Nourish Balm is a rich, beauty balm filled with Neroli and Frankincense which is best used as an intense over-night treatment for parched skin. I used this the first time I tried the Cleanse balm and my skin looked plump and refreshed the next morning, not to mention I slept like a baby! The scents of these balms are just divine.
Nourish balm is full of jojoba oil, beeswax, pomegranate oil, rosehip oil and is blended with essential oils of neroli, frankincense, mandarin and lavender…ahhhh heaven!
The Comfort balm isn’t one I would purchase as I am lucky that I don’t suffer from extremely dry skin or eczema anymore however my Mum has a really bad cold this week and used this to soothe her dry skin round her nose and it worked really well. It has Chamomile and Calendula which are both extremely well-known for their healing properties and also included in the blend are apricot oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, shea butter and avocado which are all really nourishing as well.
Out of the three, my favourite is the Cleanse closely followed by the Nourish balm. I would love to receive this try-me set as a gift and I even think its a great way for you to try the products without splurging on the full-size balms.
Have you tried Balmology? What are your favourites?
