Mini Indie Lee Round-Up | Beauty Review

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you may know that I won a huge selection of Indie Lee products in April of last year and I’ve reviewed a few of the products, but I thought I’d do a mini round-up of the other products I’ve been trying too!

Hydrating Body Balm
This balm is perfect for this time of year. Any dry patches will be kept moisturised with this hydrating balm. Avocado and jojoba oil make up the majority of the balm, which are both super moisturising oils and it also features beeswax which is known for its moisturising properties, chamomile which is known for its soothing properties and lavender & bergamot to give it a lovely delicate scent. I use this mainly on my elbows and heels to get rid of dry skin and it works perfectly. It isn’t the biggest jar for a body product but you do only need a small amount as it melts down into an oil.

Ingredients: Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Beeswax, Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm) Leaf Extract, Essential Oils of Lavandula Angustifolia, Anthemis Nobilis (chamomile), Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (bergamot), Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E)

Lemongrass Citrus Body Wash
I love the scent of this…the lemongrass and citrus combined make this really refreshing and perfect for morning showers. The only thing with this is that it is really runny so you have to be careful when you pour it out from the tube & open the cap. It’s thoroughly cleansing and I’d definitely buy this again. The Lemongrass Calendula Body Lotion is also on my list to get next!

Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (from creatine or caffeine), Xanthan Gum (from glucose, lactose or sucrose), Panthanol (vitamine B5), Xylitol (fruit and vegetable), Oat Flour, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Pure Essential Oil Blend Biovert (from glucose and lactose)

Rosehip Cleanser
I like using this in the shower or in the mornings with my Konjac sponge as it’s a gently foaming wash which I didn’t realise when ordering actually. My skin is left feeling so soft and smooth without feeling dry or tight after using this. It is very gentle so I would recommend this for people with sensitive skin even though its foaming.

Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Olivate, Glycerin, Rosa Rubiginosa seed oil, Chondrus Crispus, Eriobotrya Japonica extract

Patchouli Sandalwood Moisturizing Oil
After trying, and loving, the Vanilla Citrus oil I picked up the Patchouli Sandalwood version. Whilst it is a lovely oil that moisturises well, I’m not that keen on the scent of this one. It has ylang ylang in it which is a scent I’m not personally that keen on. But I still do absolutely love my Vanilla Citrus one and if you like woody scents and ylang ylang, I’m sure you’d love the scent of this one.
Ingredients: Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (apricot) Oil, Essential Oils of Pogostemon Cablin (patchouli), Santalum Album (sandalwood), and Cananga Odorata (ylang ylang)

  6. I was considering the rosehip face wash, I like to have a foaming cleanser for the morning wash, but it has to be super gentle 🙂 xx

  7. I'm so desperate to own more Indie Lee things but it's so pricey! I know it's totally worth it though as I have her blemish stick and lotion, both are amazing and I'd replace them again in a heart beat.

I love how her list of ingredients is always really short and very pure, a great brand.

  10. Hot dang, I love Indie Lee. I tried their squalane oil & spot treatment (don't know where I'd be without it) and loved them. Now I need to get my hands on that rosehip cleanser! Thanks for enabling my shopoholicism… 🙂 Great review! – Jennifer
