Naturisimo Wellness Inside Out Discovery Box | Beauty Review

I have recently been trying out the products that were in a Naturisimo Discovery Box* last month which revolves around wellness from the inside, out! These discovery boxes normally sell out super quickly as they’re such good value for money. This one literally sold out at the end of last week however all of the products included in the box are available separately on the site.

Their newest box, Nourish Advanced Cellular Skincare Box, is available now.

Included in this box is a selection of 6 items from superfoods to beauty products. On the superfood front are two sachets of powders from Aduna; Baobab and Moringa. Baobab is a rich source of vitamin C, calcium, potassium and thiamin and has one of the highest antioxidant counts of any fruit in the world…SUPER right?! You can blend this powder into a smoothie, sprinkle over your porridge but I used this mixed with yoghurt to make a face mask, recommended by Elijah of Bodhi & Birch in a recent #GreenChat!

Moringa is an organic green superfood, rich in protein and high in ten vitamins and minerals. You can use this blended into a delicious fruit smoothie. You can also use this powder to make a cup of tea! It isn’t the nicest but as it’s full of antioxidants, it’s a great way to get them into your system quickly.

On the beauty front we have four products; a mix of full size, samples & travel size. Ila’s Pure Relaxation Bath Soak features a blend of calming vetiver, petitgrain and softening apricot to nourish and soothe your body & mind. I let Paul use this as I’m not much of a bath person and he almost used half the bottle in one go! He said it smelt nice but as he’s not used to natural products, he was quite surprised when it didn’t foam or do anything so I’ll have to give this a go myself…it smells lovely though!

Next in the box is the Madara Brightening AHA Peel Mask which I’d seen reviewed a lot in the past few months and had my eye on. This 99% natural mask claims to remove dead skin cells, gently exfoliate and leave bright, radiant and smoothed skin. It was a lot different to what I was expecting to be honest, it came out white and gooey, almost a clear liquid gel and so I slathered it all over my face and kept it on for about 45 minutes. When I went to wash it off I wasn’t able to physically peel it as I didn’t do that thick of a layer but it peeled off when I wiped with a warm flannel and my skin was much brighter and glowy after!

Fushi are a new brand to be released on Naturisimo so they’ve also popped in a full size Hydrating Lip Balm that is 100% organic and natural. This lip balm smells mostly of peppermint to me with a hint of spice and feels really nourishing on the lips. At £5 though, this makes up half the price of the box so you’re definitely getting your monies worth!

Last but not least is a sachet sample of the Living Nature Skin Revive Exfoliant which has natural microbeads to cleanse and exfoliate skin which are much better for your skin and the environment than plastic beads. The packaging of this sample is actually so cool, which sounds like a silly thing to say but, you snap it in the middle and the product then comes through the gap so you can then close it back again and use it again rather than having a sachet open & letting it go dry. This was a very very gentle exfoliator but it left my skin feeling very soft. I got a few uses out of this too!

These are still available here from Naturisimo!
