MaaDisha Hair Oil6 & Radiance Facial Oil | Beauty Review

I have been trying out a couple of products from a US brand, MaaDisha for a couple months now so it’s time to share my thoughts…

At MaaDisha we take pride in creating and delivering “Ayurganic” (Ayurvedic + Organic) products that are based on ancient holistic principles. Our mission is to provide you with skin care and beauty products that are chemical free, paraben free, and cruelty free—leaving you feeling naturally healthy and radiant.”

I was sent the Hair Oil6* and the Radiance Face Oil* which is yet to be released however is available for pre-order now.

The Radiance Face Oil is made with sweet almond oil, turmeric essential oil, neroli essential oil, orange peel oil, saffron essential oil, pomegranate oil, sesame seed oil, olive oil, neem oil and avocado oil. I love the scent of this, it’s very fresh, light and smells like orange.

It does cost $90.00 which at first I was a little shocked by however it is a 2oz bottle which is approx 56ml. To put this into consideration, my beloved Bodhi & Birch Neroli Luce Oil is £32.00 for 15ml so this one actually works out cheaper. Having said that, I do prefer the Bodhi & Birch one…but…this comes in at a very close second. It moisturises my skin whilst helping to keep it clear at the same time.

One slight change I’d make would be the outer packaging on the bottle, it soaks up the oil from my hands after I’ve applied it so it looks greasy but other than that, it’s a lovely lightweight oil and keeps my skin in good condition.

INGREDIENTS: turmeric essential oil*, sweet almond oil*, neroli essential oil*, orange peel oil*, saffron essential oil*, pomegranate oil*, sesame seed oil*, olive oil*, neem oil*, avocado oil

The Hair Oil6 is a blend of six ingredients; gooseberry, almond, mustard, coconut, castor oil and bottle gourd. Gooseberry promotes hair growth and colour, almond cleanses and strengthens, mustard revitalizes, coconut provides proteins and antioxidants, castor oil moisturises and helps hair to grow and bottle gourd treats premature graying.

Now although I am only 22, I already have grey hairs (seriously!) so I can’t mention anything on this treating premature graying however it conditions my roots and scalp really nicely. I try not to get this on the ends of my hair when I apply as it can make my hair look a bit greasy (but most hair oils do this anyway) but when I wash my hair after applying, it helps to keep it in great condition and I love that they use more unusual ingredients than other oils I’ve tried. This one costs only $20.00 for just over 100ml (4oz).

Ingredients: phyllanthus emblica (gooseberry), prunus dulcis (almond), brassica juncea (mustard greens), cocos nucifera (coconut oil), ricinus communis (castor oil), lagenaria siceraria (bottle gourd – proprietary blend with seveov)

You can also buy on their Etsy page and shipping to the UK is relatively cheap…
