Outsider are the online destination for sustainable and ethical fashion, gifts and natural beauty. From beautiful ethical party dresses, to cosy bamboo socks and natural skincare, you’ll find everything you need for the Christmas season.
Outsider was founded in 2009 with a mission statement that set the scene…
High quality clothes can be worn season after season, so spending your money wisely on quality, fashionable clothing means you can wear them again and again, without any need for fast fashion and unethically priced garments. It’s all about creating beautiful clothes with a thoughtful approach.
Kick off the party season with a beautiful dress from their collection. A couple of my favourites include the Silk Shirt Dress and the Monochrome Shift Dress. They can be dressed up with a pair of classic heels and some jewellery, or dressed down in the day with comfy flats and a warm jacket so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth with these high quality dresses.
If you want to shop more ethically this Christmas, Outsider have a great range of accessories and gifts from bamboo socks, to beautiful jewellery and natural skincare. These Lambswool Knee High Socks are a gorgeous teal shade, with orange accents and glitter. They are made in Portugal using Forest Stewardship Approved yarn.
Complete your shopping basket with something from their natural beauty section. Outsider stock three of my favourite natural beauty brands; Skin & Tonic, Tabitha James Kraan and Fresh Therapies as well as a range of water-based nail polishes. All of the products are cruelty free, made in the UK and most are vegan (a few have beeswax).
Skin & Tonic are a London based, certified organic brand who make simple yet effective products. Their Steam Clean is a favourite of mine for this time of year as the eucalyptus helps if you’re feeling groggy or have a cold. It’s wonderful to give your skin a thorough cleanse and then hold a warm flannel over your face for a couple of minutes…and just breathe, ahh. The Calm Balm is a beautifully scented product, that works lovely as a cleanser like Steam Clean, however it has much more relaxing scent with skin soothing ingredients.
New to the website are Namaki water-based nail polishes that are free from formaldehyde, camphor, toluene, parabens, phthalates and other harsh chemicals you’ll find in most brands. They are easy to remove as you simply peel off the polish when you want a change of colour – the new trend in nail polishes right now! Perfect for children or anyone looking to reduce the amount of toxic ingredients in their beauty routine.
Outsider have very kindly given me a discount code for all of my lovely readers – simply use code AMBER to get yourself 10% off when you spend £50 up until 31st December 2015. Treat yourself to a new party dress and do your Christmas shopping all in one place!
