iHerb are one of my favourite places to shop for American natural brands as their prices are really good, along with cheap delivery to the UK. So when iHerb emailed me to see if I’d be interested in doing a little bit of shopping with them and hosting a giveaway for my readers, I jumped at the chance.
So today I have a small iHerb haul and at the bottom you’ll find a giveaway where two of my readers will each win a $50 gift card to shop at iHerb.
I picked up a few pieces on the online store, and I tried to buy from brands that aren’t as easily available in the UK. The first thing I wanted to buy was an Andalou Naturals product. I have been wanting to try this brand for a while and after reading quite a few positive reviews on their face masks, I decided to go for the Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask. It has ingredients that are ideal for soothing inflammation such as aloe vera, pumpkin, manuka honey and also pineapple which has great enzymes for lifting away dead skin cells. This was only £8.34 at iHerb for a 50g jar which I think is an absolute bargain. I haven’t tried it yet but I am looking forward to it!
Next up was a hair brush from EcoTools. You can get their products here in the UK but I wanted to try one of their new blow drying ones. I picked up the Ultimate Air Dryer Brush which is an oval shaped brush with a hole in the middle to help dry hair quicker. It took me a little while to get used to holding this, however I really enjoy using it to dry my hair. It’s quick, doesn’t pull on my hair and it’s left soft and straighter.
Another brand that is available in the UK, but is an American brand is Pacifica. I have had my eye on their eyeliners after loving their mascara, so I picked up the Smolder Eye Lining Gel in the colour Midnight. I have to say I am not that impressed with this. It looks like a navy blue in the pot, and although it does come out darker on the brush, it is quite watery and doesn’t offer much pigmentation or staying power.
The last beauty product I got was the Mineral Fusion Nail Lacquer in the shade Glint of Mint which is a lovely pale green shade. It isn’t super long lasting, however I don’t find many natural brands last that well on my nails and I like to change colours often so that doesn’t bother me too much. And finally, I just picked up a Deep Steep Honeydew Spearmint Hand Wash for at home as we’d run out at the time. I remember trying a body lotion from DS in this scent and it smelt amazing so that’s why I chose it…and this hand wash smells just as good!
