Mallow + White Blossom Balm

Today I thought I’d share one of the most exciting things that blogging has allowed me to do and that is collaborating with Mallow + White on a product together.

I have known Mallow + White founder Joanna since before she re-launched M&W. White Wash Soaps was her first brand and I had the chance to try her lovely products from her previous range. She re-launched as Mallow + White in 2015 with a range of clay masks and facial oils. We kept in touch through the re-launch and when I had the idea to create Nectar & Bumble, I thought who better to get in touch with than Joanna. I knew she had been umming and ahhing about what her newest product would be so it was the perfect opportunity to work on something together.

We knew we wanted to use products from the hive, so we started off with beeswax and honey powder in a blend of a few different ingredients. Joanna made a few different batches for me to try with different blends and some without honey powder too. Although I absolutely loved how the honey powder made the balm have a slight exfoliating effect, I was finding myself reaching for the blends without it as I was using those on a more regular basis and it still made my skin feel super soft anyway.

Mallow and White Blossom Balm is available exclusively at Nectar and Bumble

After a lot of trialling and testing, we both fell in love with a blend of six ingredients; apricot kernel oil, sunflower oil, camellia oil, beeswax, lavender oil and rosemary oil. We wanted to create a product that was based around bees and chose plants and oils from flowers that bees love like camellia, sunflower, lavender and rosemary and therefore, Blossom Balm was born!

The balm is 100% organic and natural and Joanna uses the highest quality ingredients. It is a multi-purpose balm so it can be used as a cleanser which is my favourite way – if you’ve followed my blog for a while then you’ll know how much I love my balms! It can also be used as an overnight boost treatment or simply for anywhere that needs a little bit of nourishing. It is a truly wonderful multi-tasking product!

I absolutely love this balm and I wouldn’t be stocking it on my website if I didn’t. It has a lovely light texture, it melts upon contact with the skin and the scent of the lavender and rosemary comes to life when you rub it on your skin which is just incredible.

Blossom Balm is available exclusively at Nectar & Bumble priced at £30.00 for a 50ml jar. ***For the month of August, get 10% off Blossom Balm using code BLOSSOM***

You can read more about the Blossom Balm on Mallow + White’s blog. I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Joanna for allowing my idea to come to life and creating this beautiful product with me!
