I was recently introduced to Colorisi via Content Beauty & Wellbeing and I’ve tried a couple of their products now which I’m impressed with so I thought I’d share some swatches and my thoughts on them both.
Colorisi is a French make-up range which has a unique selection of formulations and colours and most of their products are suitable for vegans (apart from the eye pencil which has beeswax). Their products are formulated from natural ingredients with coffee as an ingredient at the heart of their formulas which is really intriguing and quite clever actually as coffee is an antioxidant for the skin.
Their packaging is so unique as the cases are made of cherry tree which is a gorgeous deep wooden shade, with an aluminium sliding lid which adds a hint of elegance to the product.
The range consists of a concealer, bronzing powder, blush, eyeshadows, lipstick, compact powders, eyeliners, and mascara. I have the Eye Shadow in Macchiato and the Blush in Romeo.
The Macchiato eyeshadow is a deep grey-brown shade and looks lovely lightly dusted on the outer half of my eyelids with a bit of liner. It’s perfect to wear in the day but can also be worn in the evenings as a full-on smoky eye. I’ve been loving this eyeshadow!
The blush is a deep, reddish shade which isn’t what I’d normally go for. You have to be very light-handed when applying the blush as it’s quite dark & pigmented. It is a lovely shade however I don’t think it’s the perfect shade for me. The colour does settle down a little while after applying but I’d probably prefer their other shade, Juliet, but it is a nice blusher and I will continue to use it.
Have you tried anything from Colorisi? I have my eye on their Terra Cotta Bronzing Powder next…
