My favourites for February have not really been products but a holiday, a few days away and a facial!
At the end of January I went to New York for three nights with my sister to find a venue for my wedding reception next year. We narrowed down to three restaurants for mine & Paul’s post-wedding ceremony meal, and we think we’ve finally narrowed down to one which is very exciting! I went to a couple of green beauty places like Credo & Wholefoods and visited Grand Central Station which I’ve never seen before! It was absolutely freezing and it snowed one day, but I had such a nice time, ate lots of junk food and drank lots of Starbucks but being in New York is exciting no matter what you’re doing & it’s still my favourite place in the world.
After I came back from New York, a few days later I headed down to Brighton with Paul for a couple of nights to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at the Artist Residence which is a really nice quirky hotel by the seafront. We did a bit of shopping, had a fancy dinner for my birthday at Hotel du Vin Bistro and just had a really nice time there. I’d never been to Brighton before so it was nice to visit somewhere new.
The morning we left Brighton we stopped by AS Apothecary again for me to have a facial! Paul bought me this as a birthday present and it was honestly so, so nice. The facial was done by Ellie who is a holistic therapist, facialist and green make-up artist. All of AS Apothecary’s products are so gorgeous and I left feeling so, so relaxed which made the four-hour car journey home that little bit less annoying! If you’re in the area I’d highly recommend a facial here.
