On Sunday I went to Birmingham to attend the 2017 Spring Fair. I wanted to find some new homeware and gifts for Nectar & Bumble and I also spotted that there were quite a few natural & organic beauty brands exhibiting too! This is a trade event so there weren’t any products to buy, just brands exhibiting to traders but I thought it would be good to take a look around.
I spotted mostly brands that I already know but one or two that were new to me also. I first stopped at Bloom Remedies to see Marie & her husband and their beautiful stand. For some reason my photos have disappeared off my camera of their stand which is so annoying as it looked amazing! I’m a huge fan of Bloom Remedies products & you can read more on them here.
I next stopped by Myroo Skincare to say hello to Rachael & her husband who is now working with Myroo as they’ve had such an incredible year since the re-brand. The new packaging and products looks great and I featured Myroo in my Christmas Gift Guides at the end of last year which you can read more on here.
Next to Myroo was Savon Stories. I haven’t featured them much on my blog yet but I first saw their products back in 2014 at the Love Natural Love Organic show. They’ve since reformulated their Hand Wash and also added a whole bunch of new products from Rhassoul Clay to Black Moroccan Soap & Argan Oil. They’re a lovely family run business and I’d definitely recommend checking out their website.
I then spotted Daughter of the Soil’s stand which is a brand I’d only seen on Twitter. Their products look and smell lovely – I was told the scent was all natural but on their ingredients it has Parfum (fragrance) so I’m unsure on those claims but there are allergens that are in essential oils so it could be natural however I can’t be 100% sure. The products seem nice and they support a great initiative to help women in Africa get into fairtrade farming & support them in making and selling produce so if you’re not too green with your ingredients they might be worth checking out.
I also popped by to see Nathalie Bond Organics as they’ve recently had an overhaul on their packaging, adding in a hint of colour to their products! I have gone through two of their Peppermint & Eucalyptus Hand Washes over the last few months and love it – although Paul uses them all up within a few weeks!
Last but certainly not least was the Bathing Beauty stand which was featured in the Great British Exchange section. I love Bathing Beauty as a brand, their products are great and founder George is so passionate about ingredients & the products. I also use their make-up brushes on a daily basis!
