Beauty boxes are a great way to discover new brands and try samples before buying full-sized products, and they’re particularly helpful if you’re making the switch to green beauty. There are a few natural and organic beauty boxes on the market, but the newest one to hit the scene is The Natural Beauty Box.
Created at the start of 2017 by Emma Woodburn, The Natural Beauty Box are a UK based subscription box offering natural, organic and cruelty-free skincare and beauty products. There are five to six full or travel-size products in each box ranging from established brands, to upcoming brands and smaller artisans. Each monthly box is based around a theme, with February being “Kissed by the Ocean”.
This box has a lovely selection of brands and the products included are;
Tose Apothecary French Clay & Lemongrass Detoxifying Scrub
This scrub is made using Dead Sea salt crystals, detoxifying french clay and extracts of lemongrass & lime to give it an lovely uplifting scent. It’s perfect for sloughing away dead winter skin & prepping your body for Spring!
Little Ondine Nail Polish (Aqua)
I’m personally not a huge fan of this brand, but that’s only because nail varnish doesn’t like to stay on my nails. I’ve read rave reviews of these polishes – it’s so easy to remove, you simply just peel it off! The colour is a gorgeous sea blue shade and perfect for brightening up your nails ready for Spring.
PHB Beauty Seaweed & Mint Skin Refresh Gel
This multi-tasking gel is a must have product for your make-up bag/first aid kit at home. It’s a blend of botanical ingredients that have a cooling effect to refresh & soothe skin. It’s perfect for after sun exposure, insect bites and the organic aloe “works wonders on eczema, acne, burns & wounds”.
PHB Beauty Lip Gloss (Grace)
You can’t have a “Kissed by the Ocean” theme without a lip product! This lip gloss is 100% natural, made with nourishing ingredients to keep lips moisturised and is a lovely pink shade that will suit most skin tones.
The Salt Parlour Jasmine & Matcha Green Tea Salt & Sulphur Repair Scrub
Another scrub, however this one is full of matcha tea which will help to stimulate blood flow targeting cellulite, troubled skin conditions and stretch marks. It’s scented with jasmine and has coconut oil to help nourish skin.
The total value of the February box is over £65.00 however the boxes are priced at just £24.95 per month with free delivery so you make a huge saving. You can also subscribe on a 3 or 6 month plan where you’ll get a further discount and if you sign up to their newsletter, you can get 10% off your first subscription box.
Subscribe via the Natural Beauty Box website before the end of February to receive this months box, or if you’re a little too late, March’s box will have an English Garden theme. All of the boxes from February onwards are vegan-friendly and 50p from each box sold is donated to charity.
