Every now and then I like to do posts mixing together thing I’ve recently bought and also products that have been sent to me by brands to try out. This gives you an idea on the type of product features that might be popping up soon on my blog!
As you may have seen, in January I visited the AS. Apothecary store in Lewes with Tamara to have a look around, learn more about the brand and meet owner, Amanda Saurin. I had a lovely day which you can read more about here if you missed that post. Amanda very kindly let me choose a product out of her range and I loved the scent of the Orange Blossom Floral Water so I had to have one of those! We also made soap on the day and I went back last week to have a facial and picked up a couple of bars of the soap we made which was very exciting!
Whilst I was in Brighton for my birthday, I popped into Eden Perfumes as they have larger bottles in their store than they do online. The prices are also much better at £12 for the 30ml jar rather than £18 online (you do get free delivery online). Paul treated me to their 100ml size jar in the 460 Flowerbomb scent, which is my absolute favourite and was only £25.
I also popped into a H&M and they had their Conscious skincare range available. Whilst I didn’t really fancy anything from the skincare range, the Dry Shampoo caught my eye. The range is certified by EcoCert and this product is made with potato starch. At only £6.99 I thought it would be worth a try. I haven’t used it yet but will do an update when I have!
A few weeks ago I saw that MU London had undergone a re-design of their products and packaging and they’re now Soil Association certified. They kindly sent me a couple of products from the range including their deliciously scented White Chocolate Truffle moisturiser and also the Lavender moisturiser.
And last but not least is a Greenfrog Botanicals Geranium & Peppermint Bodywash. I picked this up from Love Lula as one of my monthly selections. I love anything mint scented so had to have this!
