I tend to wear quite neutral nail polishes all-year round, with the exception of maybe a bright colour in Summer or a deep-red in Winter. However in Spring I’m 100% all about the neutrals so I thought I’d share five of my favourite natural polishes for Spring. I have a few brands that I especially like for nails including Zoya, Kure Bazaar and Maggie Anne.
I recently picked up the shade Laurel by Zoya which is a creamy pink shade with a hint of shimmer. I usually go for matte polishes however this has a very delicate pearlescent glitter running through it which is pretty but not too noticeable. The formula of this colour isn’t the best that I’ve tried from Zoya and I would need at least two if not three coats to get a level and decent opaque finish.
Kure Bazaar have a gorgeous range of colours to choose from and whilst they are only 85% natural, I still love their polishes and I’m not that fussed when it comes to nails as I don’t wear polish 24/7. I picked up the shade Nude which is pretty much as the name describes – nude. It leans more towards the cream/grey spectrum and looks really nice with a tan.
Another shade from Kure Bazaar which I absolutely adore is Or Rose. It’s a metallic rose gold shade and looks really pretty as a full manicure or as an accent colour on your fourth finger with Nude or Jaspar (see below).
I received the Maggie Anne nail polish in Jasper in a recent Love Lula Beauty Box and I absolutely love it. The colour is gorgeous – the perfect nude with a hint of pink/mauve – and the formula of their polishes is great as you only need one or two coats for a completely opaque finish. I love it so much that I decided to pick up another Maggie Anne polish in the shade Emma which is a super pretty lilac shade. I wouldn’t normally go for lilacs or purples but this has a slight pink hint to it and I’ve been loving it.
All of these natural polishes are available at Love Lula and range in price from £10.50 for Maggie Anne to £11.70 for Zoya and £15.00 for Kure Bazaar.
