It is officially Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week hosted by the Soil Association and this year they’ve launched an organic pop-up in Shoreditch, London. I popped down on Monday for the launch event and stayed overnight so I could attend a Therapi Honey Skincare Masterclass on Tuesday too.
The pop-up is at Protein Studios, New Yard Inn in the heart of Shoreditch and is an organic haven full of certified skincare and wellbeing brands. The launch event started with a discussion panel with some of the experts behind the brands which was amazing to listen to, as all of the speakers are so passionate about organic and the ingredients that go inside the products & why it’s important not only for us and our health, but for the environment too.
I spent a couple of hours catching up with friends, going round each brand (I got round most!) and then there was also a workshop with Formula Botanica where we learned about a few exotic oils like buriti oil, passionfruit seed oil, acai oil and plum kernel oil.
I managed to make my way around almost all of the brands who are there all week. The brands are; Bamford, Nourish, Therapi Honey, Voya, YES, Naissance, La Eva, Herbfarmacy, Neal’s Yard Remedies, Viridian and Formula Botanica.
I went to Kew Gardens on Tuesday and the weather was absolutely beautiful but I did catch the sun (oops!) and the honey mask that we used helped reduce the redness significantly on my face! I am already a huge fan of Therapi’s products and my skin was left feeling so clean and soft after the event.
The Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week Pop-Up is in Protein Studios until 21st May. You can just pop by or go online to get tickets for some of the events that are taking place. All of the brands have 20% off at the studios but if you can’t make it and want to enjoy some discounts online, check out my Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week Discount/Offers post.
